Our Story

Hi, I'm Beth. I love making things and helping other people learn the skills they need to make things.

Being able to solder unlocks so many projects and possibilities and can be a gateway into creative technology that feels impossible until you give it a go.

I found that existing soldering kits often jump straight to 'build a radio!' and can be intimidating to beginners, or they are fairly simple but have little to no instructions.

I wanted to create a kit which was for a true beginner. With instructions which explain what soldering is, how to do it, and a step-by-step guide through the build, beginners can attempt their first few solder joints on the accompanying practice board without fear of messing up the main project.
